Citric acid

Citric Acid is highly shelf stable when kept dry. Store it in a cool, dry place, tightly sealed and away from humidity or moisture, which can cause clumping or hardening.

Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and strong odors. While refrigeration isn’t necessary, consistent room temperature (below 75°F / 24°C) helps maintain its free-flowing texture and effectiveness.

Properly stored, citric acid can retain full potency for two to three years. Always use clean, dry utensils to prevent contamination or moisture introduction.
