S'mores chocolate has one job: melt into the marshmallow and graham cracker. A standard dark chocolate bar usually does not. This bundle gives you the five chocolate-making ingredients for our 62% S'mores Chocolate Recipe, with the added fat needed to make the finished chocolate go soft and gooey in foil.

Choose the ingredient sizes that fit your shop or pantry. The default selections leave you with enough material to make the recipe more than once, plus extra cocoa butter, sugar, vanilla, or nibs for future batches.

Setting Up for Success

What's Required

  • A Melanger. Refining the ingredients into smooth chocolate is non-negotiable — 24 hours of refining, no shortcut. This is the recipe's gating piece of equipment.

What's Recommended

  • Basic kitchen gear — oven (for warming the dry ingredients), heavy-bottomed pan (for melting the cocoa butter), spatula, sheet tray (for pouring the chocolate slab).
  • A tempering method you trust — standard methods all work for this recipe. Tempering happens between refining and pouring into wafers.

Good to Know

  • This is a 62% chocolate with 5% added fat — sweeter than most craft recipes, by design. If you're used to 70%+ purist chocolate, well, just enjoy the extra sweet for a change.
  • The same fat that makes the chocolate melt around a campfire makes it less heat-stable. Don't store the finished chocolate in a hot car.
  • The bundle ships roasted nibs — no roasting required on your end.
  • The slab-and-break wafer method beats molded bars for s'mores. Thin wafers melt fast in foil; pretty molded bars take longer .
  • Dairy-free? Skip the Cream Powder variant and add 5% coconut oil yourself (we don't ship oils — they don't travel well).
